SMS Terms

Effective date: May 4, 2026

Last updated: May 4, 2026

These SMS Terms and Conditions (“SMS Terms”) govern the text messages you receive from Neville Consulting LLC (“Neville Consulting,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By providing your mobile phone number on our website and checking the SMS consent checkbox, you agree to these SMS Terms and consent to receive automated text messages from us at the number you provided.

1. Description of Our SMS Program

Neville Consulting uses text messaging to communicate with prospective clients, active clients, and others who have provided their phone number and opted in. The kinds of messages you may receive include:

  • Appointment confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling notices for consulting calls, fractional engagement check-ins, and other scheduled meetings

  • Status updates on active engagements, including project milestones, deliverable timing, and follow-up actions

  • Lead nurture messages providing relevant content, resources, case studies, or next-step recommendations after you submit an inquiry on our website

  • Promotional offers and information about new services, programs, content, or opportunities

  • Account-related notifications when account features are made available, such as account verification, password reset codes, or important account updates

  • Responses to inquiries you submit through our website or in reply to our messages

  • Information about events, speaking engagements, podcast releases, newsletters, or other content where you have indicated interest

2. Consent

By providing your phone number on our website and checking the SMS consent checkbox, you give Neville Consulting LLC express written consent under the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) to send automated text messages, including marketing and promotional messages, to that phone number. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of receiving our consulting, fractional, or advisory services. You may engage with us through email or other means without enrolling in SMS communications.

We retain a record of your consent (date, time, IP address, the phone number provided, and the consent language used) for a minimum of four years, as required by federal regulation.

If you provide your phone number in connection with an active service engagement (for example, to receive appointment reminders or project status updates) without separately checking a marketing consent box, your consent extends only to transactional messages directly related to that engagement. We will not send marketing or promotional messages to a number that has not opted in to marketing communications.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your stage of interaction with us. During active inquiry follow-up, you may receive several messages over the course of a few days. During active engagements, you may receive periodic messages related to scheduling, status updates, and deliverables. As a subscriber to ongoing communications, you may receive messages weekly or as relevant content is published. Outside of active engagement, message frequency is low. We do not have a fixed maximum number of messages per month.

4. Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply to each message sent or received. These rates are determined by your wireless carrier, not by Neville Consulting. Check with your wireless plan if you are unsure of your messaging rates.

5. Opting Out

You may opt out of receiving text messages from Neville Consulting at any time. To opt out, reply STOP to any message we send you. After we receive your STOP message, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages from us.

You may also opt out by contacting us at [email protected] or at the mailing address below. Opting out does not affect any consulting or advisory services you have already engaged us for, nor does it remove information already on file. Opting out only stops future SMS messages.

To resume text messaging after opting out, you must re-enroll by submitting a new consent through our website or by replying START to a message from us.

6. Help and Support

To request help with our SMS program, reply HELP to any message we send you, or contact us directly at [email protected].

7. Supported Carriers

Our SMS program is supported by all major U.S. mobile carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Cricket Wireless, Boost Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, and most other regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Some carriers may not deliver messages to certain devices or in certain regions.

8. Privacy

Information we collect through your phone number, including SMS opt-in records and the content of messages, is governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy at https://stevenpaulneville.com/privacy-policy for details on how we handle your data.

9. Acceptable Use of SMS

You agree not to use our SMS program to send abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or unlawful content. You agree not to impersonate any person or misrepresent your phone number. We may suspend or terminate SMS access to phone numbers that engage in abuse, including repeated unsolicited replies that violate our acceptable use standards.

10. Changes to These SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when they were last revised. Material changes will be communicated to you by text or email before they take effect. Your continued participation in our SMS program after the effective date of an update means you accept the updated terms.
